Known as one of the world's top negotiating experts, James F. Hennig, PhD, is also a dynamic keynoter, seminar leader, and business consultant. From Hawaii to South Africa, from Australia to Canada, Dr. Hennig has worked with many Fortune 500 companies and major national and international associations in the areas of negotiations, increased productivity, managing change, peak performance, and presentation skills.
An experienced leader and highly-touted negotiation expert, Dr. Hennig has an incredibly diverse business background. He has been a national sales leader as well as president of four successful corporations in four divergent fields. An accomplished author, he has produced audio/video and interactive CD-rom learning systems, as well as books and articles for business and trade publications worldwide. His training materials are available in 52 countries and have been translated into 23 languages.
In 1995, Dr. Hennig was elected President of the National Speakers Association, in addition to holding the two highest speaking designations awarded by the Association: CSP (Certified Speaking Professional), and the coveted CPAE, the Speakers Hall of Fame Award. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin and his master’s and doctorate from Purdue University, where he also taught for several years. At Wisconsin, he was a member of the University’s 1962 Big Ten Championship football team.
