Who's in Charge? Attacking the Stress Myth Surviving With SpiritSpeaker Information
A nationally-recognized counselor and author, Dr. Scott Sheperd comes from a background of more than 25 years of experience in working with people in difficult situations ranging from terminal illness to high-pressure jobs. His six-part lecture series, "Who's in Charge?," has been broadcast on Public Television. Sheperd has conducted workshops and seminars for professionals in the fields of business, healthcare and education. He has also worked with children in school settings.
Dr. Sheperd is co-author of The Healing Journey, formerly Cancer and Hope, and I Will Live Today, books for the seriously ill. His book, What Do You Think of You?, is a book on self-esteem for young people and their parents. He has also written Who's In Charge? Attacking the Stress Myth. In addition, Dr. Sheperd wrote the book and the music for a play, produced on stage at the Toledo Repertoire Theatre, called "The Journey," which focuses on the power of the human spirit.
Dr. Sheperd has a B.A. in music, a master's degree in mass communication, and a Ph.D. in counseling. Using a humorous, non-traditional approach to facing challenges, Dr. Sheperd provides simple strategies anyone can use to improve their quality of life.
