Secrets of Aging Gracefully
The secret to aging gracefully, contrary to magazine ads, is not found in a jar of anti-wrinkle cream. You may be able to delay or camouflage a wrinkle, but that doesn't stop the aging process. Genes account for only a third of the factors related to aging. Your habits - healthy or otherwise - account for the rest. In "Secrets of Aging Gracefully," Dr. Melina discusses dietary prevention of diseases associated with aging including age related muscle loss & fat gain, memory loss, dementia & Alzheimer's disease, arthritis, osteoporosis, heart disease, cancer and how to fight aging skin. Curcumin (curry) and resveratrol (red wine) are discussed as having particularly useful 'anti-aging' benefits.
