Susan Dentzer, a leading national expert in health care and health policy, is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Network for Excellence in Health Innovation. In her role as President and CEO, Dentzer drives the organization’s strategic agenda and priorities, works closely with its members to identify key issues, promotes NEHI’s research and policy recommendations, and serves as the organization’s spokesperson, providing insightful analyses of the U.S. health care system.

Since 2013, Dentzer has been Senior Policy Adviser to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the nation’s largest philanthropy focused on U.S. health and health care. She previously served as editor-in-chief of Health Affairs, a leading journal of health policy, and as on-air health correspondent on the PBS NewsHour.
